Story
The Lowdown is a Mental Health Charity, providing free and confidential support services for 11-25 year olds in Northamptonshire. We offer a caring environment where young people are always supported in their journey towards positive emotional health and wellbeing.
We believe no young person should experience mental health issues alone.
Our services include Counselling, Information, Advice & Advocacy, Wellbeing, LGBTQ+, Youth Groups and Sexual Health Services. The Lowdown is accessible to all, welcoming, non-judgemental, safe, responsive, and adaptable.
One of our service user’s recent quotes says it all “genuinely the best mental health support that I’ve ever accessed.”
The work we do is both lifesaving and life changing.
