Run 100km in October

Dinky Dragons is part of Aneurin Bevan Health Charity, run through the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Grange University Hospital , by a team of dedicated nurses providing support to parents during a very difficult time.

Story

I am running 100km in the month of October to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Grange Hospital, which looked after my daughter Lowri when she was born 6 weeks premature, weighing 4lb 2 oz.

Lowri turns 6 months old in October and I would like to show my gratitude to the doctors and nurses on the unit for the 24/7 care they gave to Lowri, as well as the support they gave to my husband and I as first time parents. From showing us how to change a tiny nappy, to feeding through a nasogastric tube and providing post-discharge home visits and support, we will always be grateful for their care and dedication.

Your money will help them continue to provide life saving care for babies and support for parents.
