Supporting Guide Dogs
Campaign by Guide Dogs (RCN Eng. & Wales 209617, Scot. SC038979, & IoM 1334)
Our guide dogs give people with sight loss the confidence to get out and about safely, providing life-changing practical support every day. Just £8 can support a working guide dog partnership for a day.

Story

On Friday 25th April Clare & her sister Jo will be setting off to walk the entire Coastal Path of the Isle of Wight {70 miles}, this should take them 6 days with overnight stops.

On 27th April James will be running the London Marathon.

They are doing this to raise money for Guide Dogs & in memory of Clare's beloved ex Guide Dog Earl, who suddenly passed away in 2023.

Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives.

Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams.
