I have set myself the challenge to run the Manchester Marathon on the 19th April 2026. I am doing so to raise money for Dinky Dragons, which is a charity very close to my heart.

As many of you will know, our Tommy was unexpectedly born 11 weeks early on 16th July 2023 at The Grange University Hospital.

As he was born so prematurely, he was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and remained there for the first 2 months of his life. Tommy endured many challenges and overcame so many hurdles throughout his stay, and this was all down to the outstanding care he received whilst staying there. Without the expert care from the nurses, sisters, doctors and consultants, we wouldn’t be here writing this.

Dinky Dragons is a charity that supports the NICU at The Grange. Dinky Dragons has provided crucial equipment to support premature/sick babies as well as the much needed support for parents who are living through the unimaginable.

I want to give back what I can to support this incredible charity.
