I am embarking on the Bridge 2 Bridge 2026 cycling challenge on 11 September 2026 to raise funds for the Sailors' Children’s Society. The charity plays a vital role in supporting children and families from seafaring backgrounds who are navigating difficult times.

When a parent is lost at sea, falls seriously ill, or when family breakdowns occur, the emotional and financial toll can be overwhelming. Many families face heartbreaking choices between heating their homes or putting food on the table. The Sailors’ Children’s Society steps in at these critical moments, providing monthly grants to cover essentials such as food, gas, and electricity. They also offer support for school uniforms, winter clothing, and opportunities that help children feel included and empowered to thrive.

Every pound raised will directly support these families by giving children much-needed stability, confidence, and hope for a brighter future. I invite you to join me in making a difference by contributing towards the target of £1,000.
