We are running the Great North Run this year for the Mobile Education Partnerships (MEP) charity.

MEP is a volunteer-led organisation committed to improving the lives of migrant and refugee communities in some of the world's most disadvantaged communities, affected by conflict and poverty.

MEP provide teacher training for people in these communities through workshops and online training to develop their teaching skills, enabling them to provide education to children who would otherwise not get the chance to learn and reach their potential.

Despite education being a fundamental human right, millions of children and people worldwide are out of school and denied access to education due to social, economic, and cultural barriers out of their control.
