We are running the Great North Run 2026 for the Mobile Education Partnerships (MEP) charity.

MEP provides teacher training within migrant and refugee communities, helping educators develop the skills and confidence they need to deliver high-quality education. By empowering teachers, MEP enables children—who might otherwise miss out—to access learning opportunities and work towards reaching their full potential.

Although education is a fundamental human right, millions of children and young people around the world remain out of school due to social, economic, and cultural barriers beyond their control. MEP is a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people in some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities, often affected by conflict and poverty.
