On Sunday 12th May, I will be taking part in the Hatch End Triathlon to raise money for the Nepal Education Foundation. I have been in training for a mix of swimming, cycling and running!

The Nepal Education Foundation has been working with six remote Himalayan primary schools for over 20 years. We are aiming to raise £1500 as a team to fund a clean drinking water project for Mendo School, where the children currently have to walk almost a kilometre to fill their water bottles and wash their hands.

We are also raising money to support basic facilities for six schools for the next year - these include pencils, exercise books, art materials, health products (soap, toothbrushes, etc) and science facilities.

To supply one child with all these materials costs £20 per year.
