On Sunday 12th May, a team of children, young people and adults will be taking part in the Hatch End Triathlon to raise money for the Nepal Education Foundation
The Nepal Education Foundation has been working with six remote Himalayan primary schools for over 20 years. We are now aiming to raise £1500 as a team to fund a clean drinking water project for Mendo School, where the children currently have to walk almost a kilometre to fill their water bottles and wash their hands.
We are also raising money to support basic facilities for our six partner schools for the next year - these include pencils, exercise books, art materials, health products (soap, toothbrushes, etc) and science facilities.
To supply one child with all these materials costs £20 per year.
Please consider either taking part in our event team (we may be able to support the cost of your entrance fee) or making a donation to the team!
