Story
Dear friends, family and associates,
In September we’ll be cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton with a team led by Amar Radia, a long-term dialysis patient.
Amar was diagnosed with kidney failure when he was just a teenager and at university. He recently talked openly about how incredibly difficult this period was for him as he faced life-changing circumstances, often with little or no professional support.
I'm joining Amar in this cycle challenge to help raise money for Kidney Care so that they can continue to provide the vital support, guidance and counselling that young adults desperately need to cope with their challenging circumstances.
Please join me in helping our team to raise £40,000 to support the Young Adult Kidney Group (YAKG) mentorship programme. The events and programmes aim to give young adults the tools and confidence to manage their health and make their lives meaningful and enable them to become contributing members of society.
This fundraising event will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of young adults on dialysis. Please give generously and thank you from us all. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
