At J. Marr, giving back is something we genuinely care about, especially when it comes to causes that are close to our industry and our people. For many years, we have worked closely with The Sailors’ Children’s Society, a wonderful charity that provides vital support to children and families who have lost a parent or have a parent who is seriously ill as a result of their work at sea.

The charity’s work makes a real and lasting difference, offering practical, emotional and financial support to families when they need it most. Over the years, J. Marr has been proud to raise funds to help support this incredible mission, and our relationship with the Sailors’ Children’s Society continues to be one we truly value.

In April 2026, two members of the J. Marr team, Ryan and Emma, will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to help raise further funds for this special cause. This challenge is not only a personal test, but also an opportunity to continue supporting a charity that does such meaningful and compassionate work.
