Story
I'm a big believer in the correlation between physical activity and mental health and wellness. Keeping moving in some way shape or form has always provided me with positive distraction and helped me manage difficult, over-whelming and often stressful periods in life, and work!
So, with the team at the ATHX games we have designed a 24 hr version of their unique, hybrid fitness experience - The aim being to promote the connection between physical activity and mental health, to get people participating and to raise money for NABS, the charity that supports the mental health of everyone within the advertising industry.
I am part of a completely new team of people from across media and advertising who are going to take on the 24 hr ATHX challenge, working in pairs, 1.5hrs on/1.5hrs off, from noon on Saturday 31st Jan through to noon Sunday 1st February at the Excel centre in London as part of ATHX's first event of the year.

We're going to have some fun, we're going to open up opportunities for everyone to get involved, we're going to promote the messaging above and we're going to do our very best to raise as much money as possible for NABS.
This is where I need your help and I'd be so grateful if you could support me however you see fit and donate to the cause here, via my just giving page.
For more info and detail on the wonderful organisation that NABS is, please keep reading...
NABS is the charity that exists to advance the mental wellness of our industry so that we can all get the help we need to move forward.
They provide free mental wellness support for our industry via their advice line, therapy and grants.
Last year, NABS helped more people than ever as the world gave us complex challenges to deal with, with a record-breaking 20% rise in demand for their services, including:
- 14,000 times people accessed NABS' services
- 5,200 calls to their free, confidential Advice Line
- 1 in 5 callers in need of mental health support
Every penny of your donation will go to NABS to help us support the wellbeing of those in the advertising and media industries - together, we're unstoppable!
