Story
We’re taking on the Renewd Alpine Challenge for BrainWaves—hiking in the French Alps from 17–20 September 2026 to raise funds for young people’s mental health.
Over two days in Chamonix, we’ll be ascending a total of 4,500 metres in two expeditions, tackling high-altitude trails that will push ourselves both physically and mentally. While not technical climbing, it’s a real challenge—and one we’re taking on together as a group of publishers and entrepreneurs.
We’re fundraising for BrainWaves, an initiative focused on improving understanding and support for young people’s mental health through research and practical tools for schools. We map the lived experience of 16-19 year-olds through a cohort study, generate ground-breaking research and turn that into well-supported lessons for schools to deliver.
This is a cause that matters deeply and has affected many of us personally. More young people than ever are struggling (more than twice as many as ten years ago), and early support can make a lasting difference. To provide effective support we need to understand the drivers of mental wellbeing and how we can help young people take greater control of their health.
If you can, please support us or share this page.
