DEFERRED TO 2026
Due to sustained injury and life pressures, I've made the difficult decision to defer my Why We Run entry to 2026. Your donations will still go to bigmoose to provide life saving intervention. Thank you for your support 🧡
WHY 🧡 WE 🧡 RUN
I am honoured to be a part of WhyWeRun 2025 to raise awareness and funds for mental health support and suicide prevention. I'm running for the ones we remember and miss, and the ones still here who need our support. In particular, I am running in memory of my husband Ben.
All funds raised will go to bigmoose, a mental health charity doing extraordinary work to prevent suicide, support those with mental illness, and create a better world through human connection and practical help. Their mission is to “leave the world better than we found it”. bigmoose provides urgent and impactful access to therapy. Their work responds to and takes pressure of the NHS mental health crisis. Each £400 donated covers a course of therapy for one person.
Whether you donate £1 or £100, you’re helping someone access therapy, emotional support, or simply the reminder that they matter. If you’ve ever lost someone, or know someone struggling, this run is for them too.
Thank you so much for supporting me, and for helping create a world where fewer people feel alone.

WhyWeRun 2025 is a unique 250km ultra running event over the course of 5 days in West Wales. This is not a race, but an event with a greater purpose. Runners run for themselves with the shared goal not only to complete this mammoth distance together, but also to raise crucial funds for bigmoose. This run is not just about miles. It’s about honouring the people we’ve lost too soon and making sure those who are struggling know they’re not alone.
