Why I’m Running for Rescue 🐾

We got our little bundle of joy from DogsnHome rescue 3 months ago. All rescue dogs have a history and discovering ours has been part of the journey in welcoming our little one (although not so little anymore) into our home. The path to rescue, adoption and settlement into a permanent home is not smooth but we can’t imagine our home without him now. He has touched all of our hearts and brought so much joy into our life.

This would not have been possible without the amazing work of DogsnHome Rescue, a charity that steps in when dogs have nowhere else to turn.

Behind every dog they rescue is a story — abandonment, neglect, or simply being unwanted. These are dogs who’ve already faced more than they ever should, often arriving frightened, hungry, and unsure if anyone will ever choose them.

Running 13.1 miles of DogsHome Rescue will be challenging. But it’s nothing compared to what these dogs have already endured.
