Run for Rescue 🐾
Because some journeys are about more than miles
Every dog we rescue has already run a harder race than any half marathon.
A race against hunger.
Against fear.
Against being forgotten.
For Michelle and me, rescue often begins at the point where hope is almost gone — a phone call, a photo, a message saying “Can you help?”
And somehow, we always try to say yes.
“Running a half marathon is tough. What these dogs have endured is tougher.”
Why We’re Running
Dogsnhomes Rescue exists to step in when others can’t — rescuing abandoned and neglected dogs, finding them safe foster homes, and giving them the chance of a future they were never meant to have.
That journey costs money:
transport, veterinary care, food, rehabilitation, and the simple basics every dog deserves.
By running the Fleet Half Marathon, we’re turning every mile into help — and every donation into another life changed.
What Your Support Really Does
Your donation isn’t just a number on a page. It becomes:
🩺 Veterinary care for injured or unwell dogs
🚐 Safe transport to the UK
🏡 Warm foster homes instead of cold kennels
🐕 A real chance at a forever family
“No dog should be left behind simply because saving them costs money.”
Meet the People Behind the Miles
We’re not professional athletes — we’re dog rescuers who believe that doing something hard is worth it when it changes a life.
Every step we run represents a dog who didn’t give up — and a community that refused to turn away.
“Together, we can turn effort into hope and miles into second chances.”
