We (Sarah, Helen & Di) are taking on the Great North Run for Derian House Children's Hospice in Chorley.

The Great North Run is one of the countries most well known and successful runs (and our TV debut!) and has a lots of hills. I'm clearly no Paula Radcliffe but have done a couple of half marathons this year, but this one is hilly too, so it's really is worth the sponsorship just to motivate us to keep going up the hills.

As part of my midlife crisis....hello 40....I have also signed up to attempt The Yorkshire Marathon on 19th October too. Now this is a MASSIVE leap from a half marathon and pretty terrifying to be honest....

Its a VERY long way

It requires a LOT of dedication to train

SOME people sh*t their pants when attempting a marathon (hopefully not me!)

BUT I am going to give it my best shot. I did climb a mountain last year and have almost recovered from the PTSD from the camping and cold haha, so dig deep and show your support by helping Derian House to fund their amazing work with kids and their families please.
