The Great North Run is one of the country's most well known and successful runs. This half marathon is a 13.1 mile journey through the city centre and surrounding areas. The route will take runners towards the River Tyne where thousands of people will cross over the famous Tyne Bridge. The streets will be packed with spectators who have come from far and wide to cheer their friends and family on!

We have a limited amount of free entries available for the 2025 Great North Run that we can offer to our supporters. Registering is far easier than the race itself - all we ask is that our supporters raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship for us through an online giving page such as JustGiving. Once you have hit the minimum amount of sponsorship we can register you for the event.
