Story
I am a 15-year-old planning my second extreme challenge. I aim to walk and wild-camp the entire length of Devon – a total of 188 km – in one week, to raise money for Woodcraft Folk, a co-operative movement for children and young people.
Woodcraft Folk uses games, craft, discussion, debate, camping, music and drama to learn about local and global issues (such as climate change, the environment and sustainability) in ways that are fun and age appropriate. It enables children and young adults to connect with nature and the outdoors.
Woodcraft Folk supports its young members to build a peaceful, fairer world, and to develop their own ideas, their self-confidence and their skills, so they can take an active role in shaping our world and their future.
