Story
Join us by wearing your Christmas Jumper on 11th December to raise funds for Social Bite!
Each year, thousands of homeless people in the UK spend Christmas on the streets, cold, hungry and lonely without a family to go to.
Social Bite is a charity and social business aiming to end homelessness, providing homes, jobs, food, and support to empower people experiencing homelessness to transform their own lives.
The Christmas of Kindness Campaign is currently running where Social Bite help to provide accommodation, meals and gifts at Christmas.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Social Bite will be opening up their coffee shops (including here in Aberdeen) and other venues to provide a warm Christmas dinner and some loving company for those who need it.
Just £5 could buy a homeless or vulnerable person a Christmas dinner or emergency winter food pack.
Find out more about the campaign here: https://www.social-bite.co.uk/festival-of-kindness/
Social Bite believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home, that a job can be truly transformative for someone who has experienced homelessness, and that food is one of the most powerful tools to help signpost people to access support.
Any donation to support the Christmas of Kindness campaign would be greatly appreciated.
