Story

This November I’m joining United In Motion – Challenge 25, a campaign in memory of Robert Osbourn and to celebrate 25 years of Cambridge Fans United.

The idea is simple: take on a challenge linked to the number 25 throughout November and raise money while doing it.

My Challenge 25 is:

25 sit ups every day in November. Now for many younger people this would be a doddle, but for a "mature" and overweight person like me it is not so easy!

I’m doing this to raise funds for two amazing causes:

Cambridge United Foundation: supporting education, health, and inclusion in our community.

British Heart Foundation: funding life-saving research and support for families.

Heart and cardiovascular disease is responsible for around 25% of deaths in people under 75 in the UK, but being active helps reduce this risk. By taking on Challenge 25, I’m looking after my own health and helping others at the same time.

If you can, please sponsor me - every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.

Thank you for your support!
