Why I’m Running for Rescue 🐾

I’ve chosen to run the Fleet Half Marathon to support Dogsnhomes Rescue, a charity that steps in when dogs have nowhere else to turn.

We recently adopted our beautiful boy, Rocko, through DogsnHomes Rescue, and we wanted to take this opportunity to raise funds in support of the amazing work that Michelle, Gary and all the volunteers do, day in and day out.

Behind every dog they rescue is a story — abandonment, neglect, or simply being unwanted. These are dogs who’ve already faced more than they ever should, often arriving frightened, hungry, and unsure if anyone will ever choose them.

Running 13.1 miles will be challenging. But it’s nothing compared to what these dogs have already endured.
