Story
Last year my sister-in-law, aged 55 years old, was diagnosed with Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA), a rare and life limiting form of dementia. For this reason I have decided to undertake my 1st major endurance fund raising challenge to help a charity that is helping both her and my brother to learn to adapt to this shocking diagnosis. I will be doing a London to Paris bike ride in 3 days this May to raise funds for Rare Dementia Support (RDS).
Rare Dementia Support is a UK-based service that supports people affected by a diagnosis of a rare dementia. The charity provides holistic support for people living with rare dementias and their families, through one-to-one, small group and large group support services at every stage of a rare dementia diagnosis
Your kind and generous sponsorship will directly supports vital research, care services, and awareness campaigns to improve the lives of many people. All the support you can give is going to an amazing cause and it will help spur me on in my training and during the event.
