EDIT. Sensible people (younger than us) have pointed out that doing this bike ride during an extreme heat warning is just wrong. Therefore it is postponed to later in August. But don’t worry. Everyone one of us will get there! And there will be photos to prove it :-)

Working together to raise money for our churches. A small group of the congregation from the churches along Bishopthorpe Road and their historical friendship with Acaster are supporting each other in a challenging ride of 50 miles. What's the challenge? Well, we're not 'proper' cyclists. No lycra is involved and most of us can barely manage the 5 miles into York. But we'll give it a go and we hope you'll support the riders from your local church. You know the one I mean, the one with the Christingle, the weddings, the concerts and funerals. And even, every Sunday, the worship :-)
