Some 8 years after taking part in the first Bangers & Cash rally, the team - Dan, Rem and I - are going back on the road to take part in Bangers & Cash 2026 all in aid of the wonderful people at Ashgate Hospice.

This time we are hoping to complete the (almost) 1,000 journey in a classic 1980s volvo saloon (a cool 200,000 miles on the clock), with many challenges en route (loch swims, fancy dress, climbs etc etc). The route takes us from Chesterfield, up to the Lakes, Honnister Pass, Keswick and up to Glasgow, Skyfall country, Glencoe, Aviemore, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Bamburgh and Whitby.

This is a big event involving a number of teams. Ashgate Hospice need all our support so that they can keep on providing the wonderful care, support and facilities for those in need and their families. They play such a huge role in the local community and beyond and now more than ever they need help to continue to do so.
