The Mamie Martin Fund (MMF) supports Deaf Education in North Malawi through The Thompson Fund. The Albany Deaf Church supports the Thompson Fund.
This walk is raising funds for The Thompson Fund and its work with Deaf pupils in Malawi. Unfortunately Babs cannot do the actual walk but is supporting from the side. Kondwani will shadow the walk in Malawi on the same day. He will walk DOUBLE the distance of The Mighty Stride - 42 miles/ 64 kms! The rest of the team are not so fit or ambitious and look forward to the gentle 4.5 miles/ 8 kms
