In early September we will be cycling from Care UK's oldest home (Haven Lodge in Clacton-on-Sea) to Care UK's newest home (Oxbow Manor in Shrewsbury) in a 400 mile route as part of our company's '40 days of giving back' campaign celebrating Care UK's 40th birthday ...

We will be supporting three causes that are important both to the company and to us personally - the Care Worker' Charity, Alzheimer Scotland and The Alzheimer's Society. Because of the way Justgiving works, we have each had to align to one of these charities, so please feel free to donate to whichever of the three charities you prefer. We recognise that it isn't a great time to be asking for support, but any donation is incredibly welcome.

Update: we are all deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and have questioned this morning whether we should continue with this challenge during this period of national mourning. We have been incredibly touched by the generous support of our sponsors and have enjoyed spending time with our teams and have decided to continue, but without the large scale celebrations at each home. Instead we will be respectfully marking the of a great woman with the residents in our homes.
