Crossing the Bay for Derian House:

Derian House Children's Hospice provide specialist care and support to children and young people who experience life limiting or life shortening conditions. Derian House help children and young people, whose lives are too short, to make as many happy memories with their loved ones as possible. They enable families to go on holiday and spend quality time together and support children to access fun and meaningful activities, whilst their parent/carers get a much needed break in care. Derian also provide Sibling Support, Counselling and Bereavement Support.

Derian House provide respite and end-of-life care to children in Lancashire and work closely with families to provide sensitive and empathic care to the whole family, at their real time of need.

As a team, we work closely with Derian House and recognise the amazing care, support and love they give our children and families. To show our appreciation, we are putting our walking shoes on (or losing them in sinking sand!) and walking across Morecambe Bay to raise funds for them.
