As I end the operational part of my career, I would like to take the opportunity to raise funds for 2 charities which during my career either directly or indirectly I have been involved in. The first relates to young people affected by burns injuries and the second relates to homelessness.

The Being Foundation is a Manchester-based charity which supports people and communities to move forward with confidence and hope. It funds the Manchester Children's Winter Burns Camps, which I have been privileged to be a part of, provide life‑changing opportunities for young people affected by burns injuries.

The Boaz Trust is also Manchester-based and supports people facing homelessness after claiming asylum. In a fractured world where division and isolationism are increasingly prevalent, this charity supports those in most urgent need, enhancing cohesion and giving people hope.
