Hello, and thanks for visiting my page.

I'm taking part in the Great North Run in September, and am completing other challenges to make sure I’m up to the distance (fingers crossed). So far, my husband Mark and I have teamed up for a virtual walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats (over 500 miles each) which we completed in April. I am now virtually running/walking Krueger National Park in South Africa (256 miles), and am due to take part in the London Vitality Virtual 10k at the end of May. Other challenges may appear yet, and I will add them to the page as I go.

We then thought, if I am going to do all of this, it would be good to raise a few pennies for charity while I am at it. To donate, just click on one of my names below which will take you to each fundraising page. There, you will find a bit of information as to why each charity has been chosen, and links so you can see for yourself the work they do.

For some reason the charities aren‘t shown next to my name but when you click on each link it will let you know which charity the page is for.

It has taken literally weeks to decide what charities to support as there are so many worthy causes out there. However, I wanted to support smaller charities relating to issues that are important to Mark and I, and hope that one of them will mean something to you too.

Feel free to support whichever charity you feel most strongly about, but if you are not sure, it would be nice to try to keep things fairly even if possible. I know that as there are so many fundraisers out there, it is impossible to help all of them. However, every penny will make a difference and if just three quarters of my Facebook friends donated a pound, the target would be reached.
