Story
Soooo… those of you who know me or Dave will know how much I love dance, glitz and glamour and how much Dave loves to throw some shapes on the dance floor.
We have both seen the wonderful care and compassion the Charity offers people in the hardest of situations, so when the opportunity arose to be contestants in the Rowans Does Strictly event we jumped at the chance and dance training starts next week ready for the finals in January (let us know if you’d like tickets to watch!)
We are taking part in memory of out lovely sister in law, Elaine, who received such care and compassion in the Hospice as well as in memory of Alexis’ Dad who was cared for so wonderfully by the Hospice at Home team.
If you have a few pennies to spare that you could donate to our page we would be so grateful, thank you ♥️

Rowans Hospice Charity provides palliative and end-of-life care to the highest quality for those living with a life-limiting illness in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. Our highly trained teams help to improve the quality of life for patients by easing physical symptoms, as well as offering psychological, spiritual and social support to patients, and their family and friends.
The Charity’s care services are provided around the clock, either within our In-patient unit or within the home setting, as well as offering services for day visitors in our Living Well Centre. Whilst our care is provided free of charge, we are in fact a Charity and 90% of our income is generated by gifts in Wills, voluntary giving, fundraising events, and our Retail shops. It is thanks to the generous donations and fundraising from our supporters that we can continue to provide much-needed support to the community and make a difference to so many lives.
