Story
In June 2020 Milly's 6 year old nephew, L, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and was treated for 3.5 years at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Going through years of chemotherapy treatments, lumbar punctures and constant prodding and poking is no easy feat... all while COVID was already turning the world upside down. However, GOSH provided top class treatment and holistic support and we're so lucky to have this hospital in our city.
L rang the end of treatment bell in 2023 and has gone on to live a normal life. He starts secondary school in a few weeks! His bravery, resilience and kooky humour is truly inspiring to those around him.
In April 2026, Milly and John will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for GOSH. John's a seasoned runner but for Milly it's been a few failed attempts at Couch to 5K but she thought she'd give this running lark a go. Plus John gets a free tour of the City of London!
This run will be in honour of L's bravery but also with love for the little boys and girls who weren't so lucky.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
