The MY28 initiative aims to raise funds towards the Sussex 2028 Festival target of £2.8M. Lodges and member can support this initiative by joining the MY28 team and organising an event to raise funds with the members, friends and families on an individual basis or as a lodge. The initial target was £28K but MY28 now hopes to raise much more with a new target of £280k over the remainder of the Sussex 2028 Festival.

Each challenge could be linked to the number 28 in some manner which reflects the end of the Sussex 2028 Festival, the target £2.8M & MY28 initial target of £28K. Why not set up a challenge or activity that links to number 28 such as run for 28 days, do something for 28 hours, or any challenge for 28 minutes, days or months etc. It is completely up to you, but make it achievable and something you will find a challenge & enjoy doing. Involve friends and family in your fundraising adventure and if you are brave, let them decide your challenge. Don’t forget, others will be sponsoring you & supporting you all the way, although when you have completed a challenge, you will be able to say to others, ‘that was MY28.’
