Story
This year, my amazing auntie was diagnosed with leukaemia. She’s faced cancer before with incredible strength, and after much thought, has chosen not to undergo treatment so she can focus on spending meaningful time with her husband and family.
The support we’ve received from charities, the NHS, and everyone around us has been overwhelming, and I wanted to give something back in any way I could.
So I’m taking on two World Marathon Majors:
Tokyo Marathon, raising funds for the Certified NPO National Bone Marrow Donor Promotion Liaison Council & Leukaemia Care
London Marathon on 26th April, running for Leukaemia Care — a dream come true after eight unsuccessful ballot attempts!!
This will be my third & fourth marathon, but my first time fundraising. I’m honoured to be doing it for two incredible charities that mean so much to my family. I’ll (over)share the highs, lows, and inevitable toenail chaos along the way.
