Raising money for Scotty's Little Soldiers and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

Story

We did it!!!

Who are we?

A team of good, bad and ugly colleagues from a government infrastructure project, rambling through the beautiful countryside in aid of charities supporting causes affecting the wonderful things in life, our children.

We are supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity and Scotty's Little Soldiers. We have also secured match funding from the Mace Foundation, which means that our final fundraising figure will be doubled with their controbution.

What are we doing?

Our team is hiking the Cotswold Way Challenge on the 25-26 June 2022.

A grueling 100km hike with over 2000m of elevation gain. Split over two days, the team face a 54km and 46km hike with an overnight camp at Wotton-under-edge.

How are we fundraising?

The team are collecting contributions from family, friends and colleagues from around the country, completing training walks up and down the coast and across the countries mountains and hillsides. Phil for example has been covering the Brecon Beacons on 20km+ hikes and doing the costal path in Wales, walking Penarth to Ogmore, 53km!

Kay has lined up a radio interview to discuss Scotty's Little Soldiers and our team's efforts on BFBS Brize Norton.
