Raising money for Student Minds

Student Minds empowers students to build their own mental health toolkit. We also challenge the higher education sector, health sector, and government to make student mental health a priority. Together, we’re improving university communities so that no student is held back by their mental health.

Story

After crushing Africa's tallest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, in Summer 2025, Bath Challenge (the University of Bath's dedicated adventure fundraising group) are BACK for 2025/26!

This year, a group of intrepid volunteers will take on the stunning High Atlas Mountain Range in Morocco over a tough, 6 day trek, climbing to an altitude of 4,167m atop Mount Toubkal - all in support of the UK's leading student mental health charity, Student Minds.

Student Minds is dedicated to empowering students and university communities to look after their mental well-being. They provide resources, peer support groups, and campaign for better mental health policies in higher education. With rising levels of anxiety, depression, and academic stress among students, their work is more important than ever.

Supporting Student Minds helps ensure that young people have access to the guidance and tools they need to thrive.

On top of this, Student Minds' flagship program, the University Mental Health Charter, keeps higher education institutions accountable for the support they provide, recognising excellence and highlighting shortcomings. Does your university live up to UMHC Standards? Check here: https://hub.studentminds.org.uk/umhc-programme-members-and-award-holders/

By donating, you’ll be contributing to a future where no student is held back by their mental health.

Thank you :)
