In a moment of madness (and potential naivety at the undertaking), thirty AMV employees have decided to take on the challenge of climbing the UK's three tallest peaks within twenty four hours.
Covering almost 23 miles and nearly 10,000 feet of mountain terrain with little sleep and a limited supply of food and drink, it's a physically and mentally challenging task which is not to be underestimated. But after several weeks of team bonding and training and several hours of watching the likes of Farah, Peacock and Ennis, we're determined to make it.
For those less well acquainted with Agency events, The AMV Three Peaks Challenge is the launch activity for Bud, AMV's in-house charity initiative. This year we'll be raising money for our elected charity, Crisis, who help the homeless by providing them with the education, training and employment opportunities that are crucial to independent living. It's a hugely worthy cause, so please dig deep and help us reach our fundraising target - it might just make the difference when we're lost in the fog at Scafell Pike!
