We are The Christie Challenge Team. The pictures show just a few of the 30 or so colleagues, friends and family who have joined together to raise money for The Christie by running in the 2014 Great Manchester 10K race and cycling the 2014 Manchester to Blackpool bike ride.
1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives. Cancer is indiscriminate in whom it affects and during the last year all our lives have been touched by it.
We are raising money to fund a complementary therapy service for patients receiving treatment on the Clinical Trials Unit at The Christie.
By joining together to raise money for The Christie hopefully we can strengthen the fight against this devastating disease.
