A team of us joined Cancer Research UK's Race for Life in support of a close friend who had recently been diagnosed with Cancer. Sadly our friend passed away on 3rd April, just 3 short weeks after diagnosis, making this more poignant than ever for those of us doing it
We have all individually had our lives touched by Cancer previously, with friends and family having been diagnosed. Sadly we have lost some of them, but others have lived on and are either in remission or still bravely fighting.
We felt the need to do something positive and so Team Gill was born!
We completed the Race for Life events with over £10k raised but now use this page to join all fundraising that we continue to do in Gills name.
