We are a team of students from Manchester Universities’ Catholic Chaplaincy. Our mission is to go to St. Ignatius primary school in Dodoma, Central Tanzania, East Africa, for 4 weeks to volunteer with the local children. Apart from running the lessons and spending the time with students, we want to record the local children choir and produce an album of songs that we can bring back to the UK and sell to raise money to help them out. The process of organising and fundraising for this trip is teaching us to live by faith. This has never been done by our chaplaincy before, and we think that working together towards this daring goal will unite us and that we can come back and inspire others. Also this project is a great example to proove for the whole humanity, that even a small donation can help to create huge things.
