Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page!
You may have heard of "Dry January" an alcohol-free month that students use to raise money for charity. Well here at Surf Club we are turning it up a notch:
We will be drinking just WATER for the whole duration of January. We will be buying our own refillable bottles, to raise awareness of the effect that plastic bottles have on the environment.
And for every drink a member has that is not water, they will be donating £2 to themselves... Turning that Starbucks £3.50 vanilla latte in £5.50!...
We are raising money for Surfers Against Sewage: an environmental charity protecting the UK's oceans, waves and beaches for all to enjoy safely and sustainably. All well as working on the UK shoreline, this charity advances the education of the public in the conservation and protection of the marine environment.
On the 28th January 2016, we will be hosting a Dry January celebration event in Royal Holloway Stumble Out, we would love to see you there, whether you are taking part or just supporting us! The club that has raised the most for Dry January at Royal Holloway will also be revealed on the night...
You'll see our team fundraising target on the right -> (This is made up of all of our team members targets put together.) Your donation can really help us smash this goal!
