My page has been set up to raise funds for the Diana Award – I received my Diana Award in 2010 for my fundraising for Ronald McDonald House Charity (which currently stands at £15,000+) as they provided a room for my parents whilst I was in hospital for 3 ½  weeks.   I would now like to give something back to the Diana Award, as they have given me some amazing opportunities during the past year. I currently have an exciting invitation to attend an Olympic VIP Brunch at the Babylon Rooftop Gardens in Kensington to which the Prime Minster David Cameron has been invited, later this month and I can’t wait.

 

My Mum (Alison) and I are Zip Wiring from the top tier of Wembley Stadium down to the pitch on Thursday 16 August 2012 – we will be flying across the Wembley pitch at 25mph!! 

 

If you able to sponsor us to do this event, the funds will be going to a great cause which acknowledges inspirational young people.

I was very lucky & proud to be presented with my Diana Award by Sinitta in 2011. 

I have been very lucky to attend many Diana Award events with the highlight being on 11/11/2011 when I was Chief Executive!!! for the day -

My story - 

I had always been a healthy sport loving lad until in October 2009 I had a serious undiagnosed illness that led to a 3 week stay at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

When I recovered & felt a bit better from my illness in December 2009 I set up a JustGiving page in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charity in Oxford with the aim of raising £1,000 as a thank you to them for the support that helped my family to be close to me when I needed them most during my treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford - Please see the following link for details -

As you can see I cannot believe the generosity of friends, relatives etc that have helped me raise more than £15,000 over the last couple of years.

I have also been very proud to help & support the British Heart Foundation as another thank you for the medical treatment I received in 2009 -
