Hi everyone, I've set up this page to tell you about all those who are supporting us and the Railway Land Wildlife Trust by organising their own Living Water Challenges and to explain how you can help us too.Water has shaped our landscape and environment. It also contributes greatly to the variety of ways we can enjoy our leisure time. Because of the importance of water in our lives the “Living Water Walks and Living Water Challenge sponsored events are designed to celebrate this fact, and offer individuals the chance to share with others the enjoyment they experience through waterside or water-based activities. Send us your photos, diary entries , poems. Share your experiences on your challenges with us. We will use your sponsorship money and any materials you send us to enrich the experience of the Adults with Learning Difficulties and the school children who are engaged in our project. We want to record as many dots on our map of the world as possible! Funds raised will help us to:- a. build and equip the Linklater Pavilion – Centre for the study of environmental change and/or b. continue the RLWT’s environmental / educational work. For more information about this exciting project visit www.railwaylandproject.org
So what's already going on? In our first few days we already had supporters planning challenges in Alfriston, Australia, Ireland , Peru and the U.S.A. I will keep you updated on their progress and publish pictures of completed challenges. My friend Sally Evans has done the first ever Living Water Challenge in Maryland U.S.A. Click here to see where. http://www.justgiving.com/sallyevanslivingwater And in Peru Florence has rowed across Lake Titicaca. Whilst Maggie has been treading water for us in Florida --she can't swim yet...Thank you all for your support. But our bravest challenger must be Ellie Mockler ,who in spite of being involved in a serious road accident several weeks ago, is going to do a challenge in her wheelchair. See her web page http://www.justgiving.com/elliemockler
And what's Babette upto? Do you like walking? Nature? Learning foreign languages? Meeting people and sharing?Do you feel it is important that we all do our bit to preserve our beautiful countryside? go to http://www.justgiving.com/thecosmofilchallenge

Organise your own Living Water Walk or Living Water Challenge: April –December 2008. This is for all our supporters either local, across the country, or even worldwide, who love to walk, value their countryside with all its diversity and beauty and appreciate how water contributes to this. Choose your favourite water walk, by the sea, lake, river or stream. Get sponsored to walk it on your own, or with your family / friends. OR If you swim, snorkel, canoe, bird watch, love photography, art or poetry etc be inspired to set your own Living Water Challenge. If you are on holiday between April and December 2008, do your walk/challenge there, in Cornwall ,Paris, or wherever. And we would like you to share with us your thoughts, photos, art work, poems… whatever you want to tell/show us about your experiences.
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online and/or register for your own Living Water Challenge.. Robert and Jean Cash
