So many people's lives have been touched by Cancer; one in three people will get cancer and someone is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes in the UK. When you or a loved one are diagnosed with the disease it's a very frightening and upsetting time but there are some amazing professionals who do all they can to care for, support and treat patients and their families. The Royal Marsden hospital treats over 40,000 people every year. It is an amazing place that gives people hope, care and very often more life.
What we are doing with Every Day in May is by way of a thank you, not just from those of us who have been directly involved with and helped by The Marsden but from the thousands of people, 40,000 each year from all over the UK and abroad, who benefit from the its expertise, support and care.
