Terms & Conditions

Prize Draw Rules

  1. The Promoter of this competition is JustGiving Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom with company number 793668 and with its registered office at Workspace @ Kennington Park, Canterbury Court, Studio 1.19, 1-3 Brixton Road, SW9 6DE  (“Promoter”). If you have any questions about the competition, please contact help@justgiving.com.
  2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw. Proof of age may be requested.
  3. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
  4. To enter the prize draw you must complete The Event Fundraising Snapshot 2026 survey and provide your email address. The survey opens on Wednesday, 8th October and closes Friday, 24th October 2026. Attempts to complete the survey after this date are not valid for entry into the prize draw.
  5. Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  6. The winners will be chosen by random draw by 31st October 2025.
  7. The prizes to be awarded are: one (1) main prize of £250 Amazon Voucher or Decathlon Voucher and five (5) runners up prizes of £50 Amazon Vouchers or Decathlon Vouchers.
  8. Winners will be notified by email by 7th November 2025. If a winner does not respond to Promoter within 21 days of being notified by Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  9. The prize will be sent to the winner within fourteen (14) days of the winner accepting the prize.
  10. The prizes are not exchangeable, transferable nor negotiable, and no alternative is offered. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on any winner’s behalf.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of this competition is final and binding, and no correspondence or communications will be entered into about it.
  13. Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of the Rules or the Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Rules or the Terms and Conditions.

 

Terms & Conditions

  1. By entering into the prize draw, you agree to be legally bound by the Rules and these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
  3. Your use of any JustGiving websites or platforms in connection with the prize draw is governed by these Terms and JustGiving’s general Privacy Policy, available at justgiving.com. In order to administer and manage prize draw activity, Promoter collects basic contact information about you (for example, your name and email address). Promoter will collect this information from you when you provide it during the course of registering for the prize draw or while you are participating in the prize draw. Promoter will use the personal data you provide to administer the prize draw (including verifying your eligibility to participate in the Prize draw and delivering prizes and for any other purposes specified in the Promotor Privacy Policy). This data will be handled in accordance with the JustGiving Privacy Policy. If you win a prize, Promotor may share your name and e-mail address with third parties for the purpose of fulfilling your prize and as otherwise discussed in the JustGiving Privacy Policy. In certain countries, you may have the right to request access to your information, request that it be updated or deleted, and/or restrict the processing of your information. You may also have the right to object to the processing of your information or other rights provided by laws that apply to you. Please contact help@justgiving.com if you would like to exercise any of these rights. Promotor will respond to any requests in accordance with applicable law; therefore, there may be circumstances in which Promotor is not able to comply with your request. Promotor retains personal information collected in connection with the Prize draw for as long as necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed. You understand that Promotor may be under a legal obligation to retain your personal information or may need to keep your information as evidence for an investigation or legal proceeding.   4. INSOFAR AS PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PROMOTER, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE TO ANY CHARITY, ANY WINNER OR ANYONE ELSE FOR: (A) ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR USED IN THE COMPETITION OR OTHERWISE; (B) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OR DISCONNECTIONS IN PHONE LINES OR NETWORK HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE; (C) UNAUTHORISED HUMAN INTERVENTION IN ANY PART OF THE COMPETITION; (D) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR OCCURRING IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE COMPETITION; (E) LATE, LOST, MISDIRECTED, INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE DONATIONS; OR (F) (EXCEPT WHERE CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE PROMOTER OR ITS EMPLOYEES) ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY CAUSED, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION, OR RECEIPT, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE. THE STATUTORY RIGHTS OF A CHARITY ARE NOT AFFECTED.
  5. You agree to indemnify Promotor and its subsidiaries against any claim from any third party for any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

  7. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
