Story

Royal Parks Half Marathon is back for another year! A beautiful route through some of the citys most famous parks you will get to run through Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James Park and Kensington Gardens. Not only are runners treated to the views of these beautiful parks they will also get to see some of the citys most iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Royal Albert Hall and Big Ben!

At Challengers, we provide play and leisure activities for disabled children and young people aged 2-18 across the South East. At our schemes, disabled young people can make friends and try new activities in a safe, fun and fully inclusive environment! Our mission is a world where all children and young people can play together freely!

Challengers not only benefits the children and young people that attend our schemes but also has a monumental impact on their families, allowing parents and carers vital respite from the demands of caring for a disabled young person.

The staff at Challengers are fantastic. There was an issue with the behaviour of my son and it was dealt with professionally. I was very upset that my son had displayed this particular behaviour and they dealt with it so well. My son really enjoys the outings that he has been on especially swimming and trampolining and bowling. Its good that challengers are not afraid about taking children out and about in the mini van. It allows my son to mix with the community and his peers. - Challengers Parent

About the charity

All children need to play, but for disabled children it is essential to help them reach their full potential. Challengers provides numerous play schemes for disabled children from across the South East. However, there are hundreds of children missing out every day and your gift can help them play.
