Story
It is the worst humanitarian crisis in history. 30 million people in Sudan need humanitarian help. The ummah is facing extreme violence, starvation, and disease but they are being forgotten by the world.
Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said: "Allah is in aid of the servant so long as the servant is in aid of his brother.” (Hadith Muslim)
Today there are more displaced people in Sudan than any other country in the world. It is the worst humanitarian crisis in recorded history with mass hunger, outbreaks of disease, the breakdown of healthcare and continuing violence and displacement.
Nearly 11 million people have been displaced in Sudan, as armed clashes push families to seek safety. They’ve been forced to leave behind their homes, businesses, farmland, and schools to escape heavy fighting and unimaginable conflict.
25.6 million people – that’s half of the entire country – are facing a food crisis and 750,000 people are facing catastrophic hunger, and urgently need help now. The scale of hunger has not been seen since the Darfur crisis, but on a scale that has engulfed the entire country.

A lifeline to displaced families
Our mobile clinic in Madani, east-central Sudan, will provide extensive medical care to displaced people, with a focus on mothers and children. We’ll be providing prevention services and treatment for malaria, tuberculosis, childhood illness, disease outbreaks, and diarrhoea.
We’ll also provide mental health services, pregnancy care, psychosocial support, treatment for malnutrition, and community health education.
In all, this project will help 10,000 people across 10 locations within Madani.
Working in Kharri, Khartoum state, we’ll also be providing two hot meals to 6,000 families for two months, helping to improve health, resilience to sickness, and providing a secure source of nutrition to help displaced families to have a secure way to eat amid extreme violence and hardship.
In Omdurman, we’ll be providing 15,000 pieces of bread each day for two months, helping 1,500 families to have a secure source of nutrition, while supporting a local bakery business and its 12 staff for those two months.
We’re also providing 1,000 displaced families with nutritious food parcels to last a month, helping them to stay nourished as they try to survive violent and terrifying circumstances.
Help us to support 12,000 displaced people in Blue Nile and Khartoum states by providing clothes suitable to their environment, with a focus on women and children. Many families had to leave with just what they could carry and, after more than a year of displacement, they urgently need new clothing that will help them to stay protected through winter.
We urgently need your help to support displaced and isolated families in Sudan. Do not let them be forgotten. Stand up for the ummah today!
