Story
The Paddle Group was created to look after our own, those who have served, are still serving, and sometimes struggle in silence.
We use challenging kayak expeditions to help Royal Marines and wider Armed Forces personnel reset, recover, and reconnect — physically, mentally, and socially.
The Royal Marines Charity exists to support Marines and their families through life, especially when service takes its toll on mental health, wellbeing, and stability. We see firsthand why that support matters.
By paddling in traditional folding boats (Kleppers), we honour the courage and sacrifice of WWII folding boat operators while creating space for today’s heroes to find purpose, resilience, and belonging again.
Every mile we paddle, every challenge we take on, and every expedition we complete is about giving something back; raising funds and awareness so no Royal Marine or family member has to face hardship alone.
Your support helps turn shared challenge into real support for those who have given everything.
Please help us on our mission.
