March for March – Walk 31km Your Way
This Brain Injury Awareness Month, we’re inviting you to move with purpose.
Join SameYou’s March for March challenge by walking, wheeling or moving a total of 31km across March - at your own pace, in your own way. Whether that’s a few gentle steps a day, a weekly walk with friends, or supporting from the sidelines, every kilometre helps raise awareness and funds for brain injury recovery.
Why it matters:
Recovery after brain injury is not just physical — it’s emotional, social and deeply personal. Many survivors face isolation, loss of confidence and long gaps in support once formal rehabilitation ends. SameYou works to change that by developing programmes, resources and communities that help people feel connected, understood and supported beyond hospital discharge.
Funds raised through March for March will help SameYou continue building innovative recovery programmes and supportive spaces for survivors and their families — ensuring no one feels alone on their journey.
Make it your own! This challenge is designed to be inclusive and adaptable:
- Walk, wheel or move in a way that works for you
- Break your 31km into small, achievable moments
- Rest when you need to — recovery isn’t a race
- Your journey is valid, whatever it looks like.
How to take part:
1️⃣ Set up your JustGiving page
2️⃣ Aim to raise £150 if you can
3️⃣ Move your way throughout March
