The event:

The Manchester Half is a 13.1 mile challenge that takes place every October, starting and finishing by Old Trafford, and is easily the biggest in the region with over 16,000 runners. Its an event that aims to truly represent all the wonderful people of Manchester, and celebrate our achievements by striving to be the UK's most inclusive half marathon.

Tipped as the UK's flattest and fastest half, this event welcomes all runners of any ability to the streets of Manchester for a truly special event.

The impact of Team Tommy's

All the funds raised from the Manchester Half Marathon will be invested into the Manchester Research Centre which is the only centre that focuses on understanding and preventing stillbirth. Thanks to the tireless work of the team the stillbirth rate in Manchester has fallen by 32% since 2010.

Through the Manchester Half Marathon we will be able to continue to fund the lifesaving research the Manchester Centre carries out to help more families have happy healthy babies.
